Todmorden Hippodrome were treated to a powerhouse performance by The Jäger Maestros on Friday 18th July with the band performing to a packed house of actors celebrating the end of their current set of shows.
The Jägers performed their new show set of two 45 minute halves crammed full of German oompah goodness and exciting choreography that they have fashioned for when they return to Manchester’s Bierkeller in August.
Audience members were left wanting more after revelling in the now celebrated Jäger Maestros mixes of pieces with many members booking the band to appear at future events.
“We have to have them back. That was one of the best nights we’ve had here…and I mean ever!” said the organiser.
Residents of Todmorden will have the opportunity to see the Jägers in August where they will be reappearing by popular demand at the Polished Knob pub and will be living up to their billing as “Oompah Rock Gods”.
"Congratulations on an amazing show. You really know how to put spectacular fizz into thousands of people. The musical arrangements are superb, the timing and presentation is a joy to behold and the energetic insanity of the front man is jaw dropping and wonderful fun. Brilliant!"
